I'm taking on the 100 Miles Challenge this year to support Social Bite

I'm taking on the 100 Miles Challenge this year to support Social Bite break the cycle of homelessness, completing 100 miles throughout September and finishing on World Homeless Day on October 10th.

This challenge will raise vital funds to expand the innovative work of Social Bite in providing homes, jobs, and food. Social Bite believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, that a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness, and that food is one of the most powerful engagement tools to help signpost people to access the support needed.

I would be grateful if you could support my fundraising efforts with a donation to this page.

Every £20 donation could help Social Bite to provide x4 meals for people experiencing homelessness.

Together with your support, we can truly help break the cycle of homelessness.

me and my dog were homeless

Saturday 9th Aug
Having been homeless with my dog for 2 years I am raising funds for social bite. I was begging on the streets for food and money for my alcoholism. I was part of the Christmas campaign for social bite and they do the most fantastic work helping people in need. Homelessness can happen to anyone. It was one of the hardest journeys of my life but I survived. I have lost so many people that I know who are and were on the streets. The mental torture the strain on my doggy having to be with me 24/7 with not many homeless hostels who accept animals. Its a very difficult situation to be in and im just glad me and Squire can do something to give back. Please donate what you can as it could be you one day. This pandemic is worse than covid! The work social bite do is amazing and I cant give them enough credit for all their hard work and dedication to helping people and animals that need it most. Homelessness is a very dark place to be. There is rock bottom but the basement isn't even the start of the dark catacombs of tunnels and challenges you face and as a dog owner he was all I had and got me through it. I didnt give up and in the end im trying to adjust to having a home and a settled life again. My Squire knows he doesn't need to worry where we are sleeping at night anymore.
