I'm taking on the 100 Miles Challenge this year to support Social Bite

I'm taking on the 100 Miles Challenge this year to support Social Bite break the cycle of homelessness, completing 100 miles throughout September and finishing on World Homeless Day on October 10th.

This challenge will raise vital funds to expand the innovative work of Social Bite in providing homes, jobs, and food. Social Bite believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, that a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness, and that food is one of the most powerful engagement tools to help signpost people to access the support needed.

I would be grateful if you could support my fundraising efforts with a donation to this page.

Every £20 donation could help Social Bite to provide x4 meals for people experiencing homelessness.

Together with your support, we can truly help break the cycle of homelessness.

World Homeless Day cycle - 15 miles to finish off

Friday 10th Oct
Very windy today and decided to go up the hills towards Oldhamstocks 🤷‍♂️ mistake !!😑 but made it eventually, then kept going towards Torness then back to Cockburnspath. Enjoyable cycle to complete my 100-mile challenge. (Actually, just short of 170 miles cycled for the challenge) Well Pleased with my effort

A wee ten miler - post holiday cycle

Wednesday 8th Oct

15.67 miles workout today in good conditions

Wednesday 24th Sep
enjoyable days cycling for a workout.  Slight breeze but not too bad, started on the hills and finished on the flat for a homeward journey.

Nice 23.87-mile cycle to get weekend cobwebs blown away

Monday 22nd Sep
Not too bad today, a bit breezy but managed to keep going and ended up doing a bit more than expected. Bit of flat and hills today but not too steep, just trying to keep going until my holidays on Thursday. Going to try and do 150 miles but will wait on weather etc before setting out.

13 miles today, hopefully it's not unlucky for some this Friday

Friday 19th Sep
Thought I would do a little thirteen miler today before the rain and weekend kicks in. This should make me go over the hundred miles challenge, but I am going to keep cycling and try to beat this target before my holidays.

Great days cycling today, up into the hills the on the flat for the home run

Wednesday 17th Sep
Great cycle today another seventeen miles completed today as not too windy, started off by going up the hills but as they say what goes up must come down. 😂😂 Beginning to enjoy my cycling just now and 10 miles plus seems easy when on the e-bike 🙈 still must pedal though!! Getting closer to the 100 miles now

Another day, another day's workout covering 21.5 miles on the bike

Tuesday 16th Sep
Very blustery today especially the 1st half, decent job on the flat course today as I would have struggled on the hills. Great run back though and twenty-one miles clocked up so not too bad a cycle for today. Feeling great that the finish is getting closer.....

3rd Day - Breezy cycle today, but halfway to target

Friday 12th Sep
Quite breezy this morning, in fact "the hills were alive" with heavy breathing.... mine !! Good run though first half into the wind and second half wind at my back. 18.2 miles to add to my total which is great just need to get the money flowing now.....

2nd day's cycle - 20.72 miles on a lovely day

Monday 8th Sep

1st day's run - better than I thought
